  • Hello Xanga World!!!

    Hello to all the Xangans....

It's been over a year since I've written anything on here.  Up to date, beginning of this year, I've sold my building.  The 40,000, 3-story, with over 30 tenants was just too stressful for me.  Being the landlord is just not easy.  You can't seem to please everybody.  So, I stopped trying.  I sold the darn thing!  I'm working on building my strip center instead.  It's less maintenance and a whole lot of less headaches.  Good Lord!!!

Another blessing for me is that God granted my wish.  I so longed for a little princess almost all of my life.  Last April on my birthday, I made my wish before blowing out XX number of candles....lol.  A month later, in May, my wish came true....we were pregnant!  On February 2, 2008, God blessed us with a beautiful dimpled little princess.  We named her Milana. An original name for an original little girl.  I don't like the ordinary names that millions have.  She is the most precious love of my life.  She is now 8 months and fills my days and nights with sooo much love, joy and happiness.

Just recently, I've became partner in a Law Firm.  I've opened up my own law office here in Houston.  I enjoy working again, socializing and meeting new people and especially, helping them.  I bring my daughter into work with me.  She has her own office in my office.  I hand-painted her office pink and white and decorated it with all the Disney character princesses.  I enjoy having her around and taking care of her.  I don't trust anybody else with her.  On weekends, we chill and enjoy the house, go shopping, getting our nails and feet done, eating out and going to the park.

Oh I almost forgot, our dogs, Oryo (Pomeranian) and BeBe (Maltese) had a litter of 5 puppies (3 girls and 2 boys) on August 6, 2008.  They are all pure white.  Extremely cute!!!

    Until next time....take care!!!

  • VA TECH...

All in all, this was an unfortunate event for ALL 33 people, including Cho.  Although he was extremely wrong and everybody hates him, he too, was a victim.  Nobody grows up to be a murderer and kill multiple people.  He was probably abused one way or another throughout his life; he was probably picked on by other students (rich kids) and neglected by family members, therefore, he was a loner, thinking that nobody cares for him.  Of course I feel sad and sorry for all the victims and their families, but I also really feel sorry for Cho and the outcome of his life; how much gut it took him to decide to end it in such a way.  May GOD bless them ALL!

Today is my birthday! I don't have any plans, still at home.  I do however, plan to have a seafood (lobster, clams, sushi, etc.) party this weekend and invite the family over to enjoy.  Life is short, enjoy it with your family and loved ones as much as possible.  You never know when you'll be gone.

    Have a great one everybody!

  • Imus:

There seems to be double-standards on commenting these days.  While the rappers continue to produce their "so-called" music and chanting all the racial slurs, hoes, murdering of cops, bitches, etc., etc.... I don't see Rev. Al Sharpton uttering not a single word nor jumping on the bandwagon of "changing peoples' languages" and their usage of verbiages, whether they're black, white, yellow, red, or rainbow.  Do you?  Wasn't he so quick to jump to conclusion about the accused rapists of that African-American chick who lied and accused these three innocent "white" men of rape?  Do we hear any apologies?  Why is it okay for African Americans to use racial dialects, but not for Caucasians?  Isn't this hypocrisy and just plain BS?  Why do people criticize President Bush, the President of the United States for Heavens sake; they call him names, curse at him, criticize him and his administration, etc., etc., and it's okay, but once someone itches toward African-Americans, it's racial.  What kind of BS is this?

I am not a racist by any means.  I grew up with a black best friend.  I currently employ African American and Hispanic people at my company.  I believe in equality for ALL!  If one race can have freedom of speech, then so can others!  People are getting a little carried away and going as far as wanting to fire Imus?  Get real.  Take a damn chill pill and abide by the First Amendment of Freedom of Speech!!!!!!!!!!!
